a relevant diploma, or a research proposal.

7. After offer letter received: It is a document that you will need to apply for your student visa.
To apply for a study permit in Canada, follow these steps:
1. Choose a designated learning institution (DLI): Enroll in a program at a DLI, as a study permit is required for international students attending a DLI.
2. Prepare the required documents: Gather the necessary documents, including an admission letter from a DLI, proof of financial support, results from a medical exam and police check, and language test scores.
3. Apply for the study permit: You can apply for a study permit online or through a Visa Application Centre (VAC) in your country.
If you are eligible, you can apply through the Student Direct Stream, which allows for faster processing.
4. Wait for the status: After submitting your application, you will need to wait for the status to be processed. This can take 2 to 16 weeks.
5. Fly to study in Canada: Once your study permit is approved, you can travel to Canada to begin your studies.
Remember that your study permit alone will not enable you to enter Canada, and you may be issued with an Electronic Travel Authorization
alongside your permit. You may also be eligible to work part-time with a Canadian Study Permit, usually up to 20 hours a week.
